Privacy Policy

NapWise is designed to work without a sign-up wall and to keep your data to a minimum. This policy explains the little data the app does handle.

1. What we collect

Your nap preferences (default duration, chosen sounds, theme, and volume) are stored on your device. Your nap history is stored on your device and, when you are online, synced to your private account space in our cloud database so it can be restored later.

2. Your account

On first launch the app creates an anonymous account with no name or email attached. If you later sign in, your existing data carries over.

3. Notifications

If you grant permission, notifications are used solely to deliver your wake alarm. We never send marketing or promotional notifications.

4. Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by the App Store or Google Play. NapWise receives only an anonymised receipt confirming your entitlement, never your payment details.

5. Analytics

We collect anonymous usage events and crash reports to keep the app stable and improve it. These contain no information that identifies you personally.

6. Data retention

Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device. You can request deletion of your synced data at any time.

7. Your rights

You may request a copy of the data associated with your account, and its deletion, by contacting us.
